
HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR DAY 2025

June 4, 2025, marked the fifth annual Holocaust Survivor Day. For the first time ever, HSD reached all six inhabited continents. The robust slate of programming included meals, concerts, activities, and much more, uniting communities across generations in appreciation of survivors' bravery and resilience. JCC Krakow
Hosted a summer garden party and family portrait studio for Holocaust survivors and their descendants on Sunday, June 1st. Guests convened to hear reflective remarks, enjoy musical performances, and savor a festive meal. Each survivor posed for a professional photograph alongside family members.




South Africa
Hosted two events on Wednesday, June 4th: a tea session for survivors at the Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre and an intergenerational evening gathering with reflections on familial memory. Detailed write-ups available here and here respectively.
