
HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR DAY 2025
June 4, 2025, marked the fifth annual Holocaust Survivor Day. For the first time ever, HSD reached all six inhabited continents. The robust slate of programming included meals, concerts, activities, and much more, uniting communities across generations in appreciation of survivors' bravery and resilience. See below for a sample of international events.
JCC Krakow
Hosted a summer garden party and family portrait studio for Holocaust survivors and their descendants on Sunday, June 1st. Guests convened to hear reflective remarks, enjoy musical performances, and savor a festive meal. Each survivor posed for a professional photograph alongside family members.
EUROPE




JCC Budapest
Hosted a June 10th screening in conjunction with the Sh’ma Project, a multimedia artwork showcasing the resilience of Holocaust survivors. The collaboration aimed primarily to unite multiple generations and spread hope.
